We carry both Early and Late 7.3 Powerstroke valve cover gaskets. (Late VC gaskets are pictured above.)

The early design fits 1994 - 1997 and has TWO electrical connectors along the top edge of each valve cover.

The late design fits 1997 - 2004 and has ONE electrical connector at the top of each valve cover.

If you own a 1997, please check to see how many connectors are on each Ford valve cover gasket - you could have the early OR late design.

A common issue with 7.3 Powerstroke valve cover gaskets is that the electrical connectors melt. When this occurs you will often need to replace the internal harnesses (UVC harnesses) and external pigtails as well. In fact, it is recommended to replace all three items at the same time if you have experienced meltdown in order to avoid a repeat occurrence.
