- Fuel Pressure Regulator Housing Repair Kit -
Save $400+
That sinking feeling you get the moment you feel a "snap" when tightening up the return line connection to the fuel filter on your 7.3L Powerstroke means you just broke the VERY fragile factory fuel pressure regulator housing. It is a very easy mistake to make since they are very thin. Unfortunately, Ford has never offered this part separately, so in the past you had few options. You could try to find a rare used 7.3 Powerstroke fuel filter housing that is not broken or scavenged, or buy a pricey complete new assembly. Now all you need is this simple 7.3 Powerstroke fuel pressure regulator housing repair kit which takes mere minutes to install and you are on your way again!
7.3 Powerstroke Fuel Pressure Regulator Housing Repair Kit Contains:
- New Aluminum Fuel Pressure Regulator Housing
- Fuel Pressure Regulator Spring
- FPR retaining screws
- FPR Piston
- FPR Piston Seal
- Return line "Olive" Square Cut Seal
- Associated Oring seals
Please note that 1998 model year trucks can use either the early 1994 - 1997 style fuel filter assembly or the late 1999 - 2003 assembly. This kit fits ONLY the late style filter assembly. If purchasing for a 1998 truck be sure to compare the pictures to your truck to ensure this is the part you need. The early style fuel filter assembly looks completely different.
This listing does NOT include a new fuel filter assembly. The pictures of the fuel filter assembly are so you can know the style of filter assembly you have if you have a 1998 truck and to illustrate the location of the FPR housing on the fuel filter assembly.
