6.4L Powerstroke injectors are a very demanding application and time has shown that genuine OEM remans are a better choice than anything offered by the aftermarket, so we have chosen to offer the OEM product for greatest reliability.

Unlike previous Ford 6.4 diesel injectors, which were controlled by magnetic solenoids, the Siemens injectors used in 2008 - 2010 Powerstrokes are a piezo electric design operated at up to 200 volts for much faster response times. Because 6.4L Powerstroke injectors are located under the valve covers and rail pressures are extremely high, any leaks at the injection line connections will cause the engine oil to become diluted with diesel fuel, potentially resulting in serious engine damage. Ford requires that the injection line be replaced whenever it is removed. As such, we include a new line with each injector. A new body oring and chamber / tip gasket are also included.

WARNING: A major cause of 6.4L Powerstroke injector failure is failure of the high pressure fuel pump. These particles can cause 6.4 Powerstroke injectors to stick open which can, in turn, cause engine failure. Before replacing any Ford 6.4L diesel injectors, perform a test for metallic fuel system contamination to prevent immediate re-occurrence of the failure! Any time a 6.4L engine develops a misfire or abnormal smoke condition it is prudent to cease driving immediately. Continued operation can result in very expensive repair bills.
