I bought these in the fall of 2019, knowing that a good number of the glow plugs on my '05 6.0 were burned out (later discovered only 3 were still good). I couldn't get the truck started much below 30 deg F without the block heater. I live in Minnesota, so healthy glow plugs are an absolute necessity in the winter.



I was a little leery, having read that one should avoid buying anything except factory glow plugs, and finding all kinds of horror stories about aftermarket plugs swelling and breaking off inside the cylinders. I took a chance on these because it seemed like they were really manufactured to a high quality standard. I checked them all with an ohm meter before installing them, and all 8 gave identical resistance readings, right in the proper tolerance range - A good sign.



It's February now, and I've started the truck in weather down to -10F with no trouble. I plug in the block heater on really cold nights, but that night I had it parked in the street and couldn't do so. The next morning I cycled the plugs twice and it cranked right up. I was extremely impressed.



Word to the wise: I broke both wire harnesses taking out the old plugs, even with the removal tool. Do yourself a favor and buy this complete package. It'll ensure you get the job done right in one shot. Thanks to Accurate Diesel for selling a great product!
